All Colorado Agricultural Commission meetings are open to the public. The meetings alternate between virtual and in person. Shorter meetings (usually 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm) are only held virtually. Longer meetings (usually 9:00 am - 3:00 pm) are in person and rotate locations around the state. All in-person meetings still have a virtual option. The location of the in-person meetings is determined closer to the meeting date. The most recent Pueblo Drought Management Workshop for agricultural producers took place on May 7, 2026, at Milberger Farms at Peppe's. Hosted by CSU Extension Pueblo County and local conservation districts, the event brought nearly 30 Southern Colorado farmers together to discuss drought planning, finding hay, funding options, and cattle sell-off strategies. Because this year's historically low snowpack and early water shortages have heavily impacted agriculture in Pueblo County, experts at the workshop provided actionable guidance on surviving the ongoing moderate-to-severe drought. Two notable extension representatives with deep ties to the San Luis Valley participated in the drought workshop efforts:
