Pre-orders for the Summer Fresh Box are live in the market! We do encourage early buying as our shares will cap out. Shares are $450 with an optional egg, beef, and NEW bread share. The 2022 season runs from June 24th-September 16th (June 28th-September 20th for Pagosa customers).
This is a great option for folks who have busy summers and would like a curated box of produce. Our team does a stellar job including recipes that use up the ingredients in your box. These are pre-orders, meaning just select any delivery date in the market and we will be in touch as the season approaches.

We are the San Luis Valley's community supported, naturally leavened, whole grain Cottage Foods and Wholesale Bakery.
Nearly all the grain we use is regionally grown, here in the valley. The flours from these beautiful grains are then stone-ground and unrefined to preserve the plentiful nutritional benefits found in unprocessed, whole grain berries (seeds) -- naturally infusing our products with the prebiotic fiber, proteins, vitamins and minerals lost to modern breads.
Common in ancestral diets of some of the longest lived populations on earth (blue zones), fermented whole grain breads are consumed as a daily, ritualistic staple. So, order for pick up at our Batterson Alley Bakery in Monte Vista or for valley-wide delivery to add nourishing, organic, fermented, whole grain breads to your household's healthful local food traditions.
